There is now an additional Taurus in the family:
Henri ( his parents are both from France )
Don't you just want to eat him up with a spoon?

Cross your fingers for us. We're looking at a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel tonight!

I am now a proud subscriber of XM Satellite Radio! 100% commerical free music 24/7 (4 of which are non-stop dance). I think I'm going to move into my car. Okay, not quite realistic, but I am going to get the home kit and have it plugged throughout the loft. I'm such a techie geek!
Yes, there was a cleaning frenzy this weekend. It amazes me the excitement by those waiting for donation drop-offs.
Pictures and Art now adorn the walls. We even ran out of hanging supplies!
And now it's Monday morning. It's raining. Icky!

well, it was too late to get the satellite radio installed last night - apparently it takes a while! So we're planning to do that tomorrow. And, I get to pick up the custom made shirts tomorrow... they had to take them in a little around the bust (imagine that?)
After getting a bit lost along the way, Amanda took me to Dali in Sommerville for our date last night. The wait time was near an hour; however, it's good to know people! We were seated in less than 15 minutes -- just long enough to enjoy a glass of their house wine and hear rave reviews about the asparagus tapas array that we had in store for us!
A mere sampling of what we nibbled on...
If you haven't experienced Dali, I highly recommend it. The food was outstanding and the atmoshphere was cozy and intimate and they make a tasty Sangria!

Our dinner with Joe & Julie at the Teriyaki House on W Broadway was excellent. Even with the service falling a bit short, the food was outstanding - bourbon chicken, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, white rice, salad, crab rolls (another take on crab rangoons) and sushi galore. At least we know to order take-out instead of dining-in service!
Okay, off on a date with my girl and to pick up one of my birthday presents (Satelite Radio)!! You have no idea how excited I am!! Like I needed more music!

I've been receiving complaints on my lack of blogging... so to please the masses:
SUNDAY
I think Amanda already summed up the red minpin incident Sunday morning. Quite tragic, especially since we just heard that the dog we were interested in a while back (Mosley) is doing well in his new home (or so they say). So our search continues...
Went to the MFA and saw Tipping the Velvet. Excellent series with "something" for everyone's taste ;)
Then back to the loft to prepare a lovely dinner for us and a friend (filet, roasted potatoes, fresh string beans) complemented nicely with a Shiraz.
I was then introduced to the art of Tarot Card reading. If you are not familiar with these, try it.... my daily reading was eerily accurate. But then again, I follow my daily horoscope from two sources (just to be sure of course)
MONDAY
Gay Marriage is now legal in Massachusetts. Hallejulah!
First day back to work post-launch. There was a sense of relief and calmness in my world. Following my semi-relaxing day at work... we had dinner with friends at The Fours in Quincy -- well drinks there, then we went next door to an Irish pub and had dinner there. They had Shepards Pie on the menu - and dammit, it was GOOD!
TUESDAY
More interviewing for the Junior Web Designer Position (btw, we have other jobs available, so check out our listings and refer some peeps. If you refer someone directly to me, you'll be paid $2500!!! No joke! So send me those resumes! And the company announced that for everyone who has been with the company greater than 5 years, they will receive a month of vacation time (opposed to 3 weeks). Only have a year and some change to go!
Played my first softball game of the season. We lost miserably. You don't even want to know the score (okay, it was 22-4 or something absurd like that). And I'll have you know that I actually got on base and never struck out and made all of my catches. My game was on!
Tony Randall (Odd Couple) died Tuesday. I'm very saddened.
WEDNESDAY
Nothing that exciting to report today from work: interviews, job postings, mundane work, etc. The highlight of the day is our dinner plans with Joe & Julie tonight at The Teriyaki House or Common Main -- both have been getting great reviews from the "locals".
Oh and in case you didn't notice, I did post the pics from the Scotch Dinner Party.

Scotch Dinner was last night. Good food, good people, good drinks, good cigars.
Excellent scotches all around, but my favorite... Glenrothes.
We brought a lovely assortment of cheeses: Humboldt Fog, Cana de Cabra (Spanish), Tomme Fleur Verte (one of my favs) and the big hit was the sheep's milk wedge. We also brought the Vosges chocolate we hunted down in Miami! The chili chocolate went well with the pinot noir.
The dishes (lamb, chicken, duck, eggplant) were delightful and each paired well with the different wines & scotches on hand.
And for dessert, I was surprised (along with the other Taurean in the group) with birthday cake & gifts. Let's just say there was a "grow a date" in my bag! It was great night (and hopefully Tiffany will be sending along the pics and I'll post).
On the work front... Constant Contact® Campaign Creator Plus is finally launched. Perhaps now I can breathe a bit. Yeah right!
Okay, I'm off to be fitted for my custom shirts!

Miami was fantastic! Check out the pics.
There were happy hours.
There was vodka.
There were cigars.
There was sunblock.
There were umbrellas & beach chairs.
There were scantily clad women & men (although, my girl in her bikini was the hottest).
There was a convertible.
There was a dog hunt.
There was a lesbian couple in the WRONG neighborhood (that'd be us).
There was the convertible top going UP.
There was a tattoo parlor involved.
The beatles played in the background.
And.... my girl now has ink!
Oh, and I turned 27 somewhere in the middle of all that. Now that's a weekend getaway!

By this time tomorrow... I should be somewhere on Ocean Drive watching the sunset. We have a fun filled weekend of sun, sun, and more sun. Oh and my birthday is Monday too. Hmm, I wonder what I'm going to get for my birthday? I think spending the weekend with my beautiful girl in Miami and away from New England is present enough.
We'll post lots of pictures next week - Ciao!

My taste buds had a run for their money today as I tried more sushi. I have come to enjoy some, but certainly not all. Now, if I can just remember the names of what I like! Thankfully, my girl is patient with me as I walk gently into the Sushi loving arena.
Been a crazy week and it's only Tuesday. Did I mention that I'm hiring someone? A Junior Web Designer/Producer. And, for those who know me.... yes, that would be a promotion. Director of Interactive Marketing... or something like that I'm told. Just wish it meant more money. If you know of anyone interested, please email me their resume.
Did anyone see the moon tonight? No wonder the world was cranky today.

The move is complete, we are all unpacked and the place has begun to look like home. And come this time Friday morning, I'll be sitting on a plane headed for Miami.... what could be better than that?
